My studio was almost called Almo
Three names fell because others were already using them. The fourth means "from now on".
My studio was almost called Almo. Then Ambo. Then Alund.
All three fell because others were already using them. The fourth name was left standing: Amodo.
In Latin it means “from now on”. In Italian it means “done properly”. I couldn’t have written a better promise myself.
I have built Amodo Studio in the open: the name, the colours, the typeface and the website. It shows how a brand comes into being from within.
