What should a press kit contain?

A press kit saves the journalist from having to ask. It should work without you.

A press kit is the place where others can get what they need when they write about you. It should contain:

  • The story in a few sentences: what the company does, and why.
  • Facts: name, industry, when and where, and who is behind it.
  • Images in a usable size, with captions and credits.
  • Logos in several formats.
  • One contact person with email and phone.
  • The latest press release.

Put it all in one place on the website, so it’s easy to get.
